The Winners for the About.com Readers' Choice Awards have been determined.

Despite initial issues, such as the format war with HD-DVD, and a sizable number of consumers that initially doubted the viability of a disc format in the internet age, Blu-ray disc players have been selling very well and are now well established in the market, following closely behind the rate at which DVD was adopted. Now, with about 40 million Blu-ray disc playback capable devices in just the U.S., many of you certainly expressed your opinion on your favorite brand. Here are the results:

WINNER - OPPO - 45%
Sony - 29%
Denon - 22%
Toshiba - 1%
LG - 1%
